Connect GitHub to Teaminal
To connect GitHub to Teaminal, visit the integrations page and click on the “Add GitHub Integration” button.
Next, individual users will have to add their GitHub username to their account. To do that, visit your account settings page and enter your GitHub username in the “GitHub username” field.
Standups with GitHub
With GitHub connected, when you post a status update to Teaminal, your recently closed tasks will be shown alongside the update. You can click on the task name to open it in GitHub.
Retros with GitHub
Similar to status updates, when a team retro is created, the team’s recently closed tasks will be shown alongside the retro. You can click on the task name to open it in GitHub.
Teaminal GitHub Settings
There’s no customization available for the GitHub integration, so there’s no settings page.
Resetting your connection
If your GitHub connection isn’t working properly, try removing and adding the connection back again. None of your existing data will be affected.
To do that, visit the Integrations page and click on the “Remove GitHub Integration” button. When the page reloads, click on the “Add GitHub Integration” button.
